Crow

The Crow Nation is located in Southern Montana. The Crow land contains the Little Bighorn National Battlefield, where a confederation of Plains nations defeated General Armstrong Custer. Today, the site honors those killed on all sides of that conflict. The Crow help lead interpretive tours at that site. In the summers, the Crow nation hosts one of the largest gatherings of First Nations. This gathering is said to include the largest assemblage of teepees (traditional tent dwellings of the plains) to form in modern times.

Among collectors of traditional ethnic art, the Crow are best known for their beadwork and their leather work.
