Readey

Marijo Readey received her early fine arts training at Toronto's Three Schools of Art. During that same time frame, she received a Ph.D. in Zoology (and a minor in Archeobotany) at the University of Toronto. Her life-long interest in the sciences, especially in biology and ecology, has had a profound impact on her work as an artist. Her artistic interests range from photography and print making to painting with oils and acrylics. Much of her work depicts natural scenes, ichnographic images filled with symbolism, and images that show the similarities among cultural traditions.

Prairie House Gallery is pleased to present a variety of works by this artist, including both paintings and original print designs.
